Heavy-Duty Engine Oil — Guardol Fleet 15W-40 / Guardol XT 5W-40
Diesel engine oils for combines, tractors, swathers, and farm trucks. Guardol Fleet 15W-40 for general use; Guardol XT 5W-40 full-synthetic for cold-weather startability and extended drain intervals.
Megaflow Hydraulic Oils

Different scales of operation use different packaging. We deliver in whatever format fits your operation:
- Pails (16–18 L / 5 gal) — small applications, secondary use, top-ups. Convenient for hand-decanting at the equipment.
- Drums (205 L / 55 gal) — most common ag format. Easy to handle with a barrel pump, sized for the kind of usage a typical farm sees in a season.
- Totes (1,000 L IBCs) — high-usage operations and lubricant programs running multiple machines. Cost per litre drops noticeably vs. drums.
- Bulk delivery — for the largest operations and grain handlers, we deliver oil and hydraulic fluid in bulk into shop tanks alongside fuel runs.
Seeding, Spraying, Harvest — Our Seasonal Cadence
Lubricant demand on most Alberta farms isn't flat — it spikes around three windows. We tune delivery cadence to match:
- Pre-seeding (early April): equipment lube-out, hydraulic fluid top-ups, fresh engine oil before the first long days.
- Pre-spray (May–June): Powertran refresh on sprayer drives and field tenders, grease cycle on running gear.
- Pre-harvest (mid-August): the big one. Combines come in for service, fluids get changed, hydraulics get topped, drum and tote inventory peaks. We pre-stage based on past-season usage so you're not waiting on a delivery in late August.
- Off-season (winter): waste oil pickup and top-ups for shop work and equipment storage.
Bundled with Fuel Delivery
Most ag customers bundle lubricant supply with bulk fuel delivery — dyed diesel for off-road equipment, clear diesel for highway-licensed trucks, and lubricants on the same trip. One dispatcher, one delivery window, one invoice. We can also bundle in DEF if your fleet runs newer SCR-equipped equipment, and on-farm storage tank rentals or sales for fuel and lube alike.

We can source other brands on request for specialty applications.
- Can Powertran fluid replace different brand-specific OEM transmission fluids?
- Yes. Phillips 66 Powertran is formulated to meet the spec for John Deere J20A/J20C/J20D, Case IH HY-TRAN Ultra, New Holland 134D, AGCO Powerfluid 821 XL, and most other major ag OEM tractor TDH/UTTO specs. One product covers most Alberta tractor fleets. Always check your equipment manual against the Powertran data sheet for your specific year and model.
- What's the difference between Multiplex 220 grease and Omniguard synthetic grease?
- Multiplex 220 #2 is a high-quality lithium-complex grease that handles most ag chassis and PTO applications well. Omniguard XD5 #2 is a synthetic-based grease that holds up at higher temperatures and under heavier loads — worth the premium for wheel bearings on heavy combines and high-speed shafts. For routine grease points, Multiplex is the right call. For severe-duty points, step up to Omniguard.
- Do you deliver lubricants in bulk to on-farm tanks?
- Yes — for higher-volume operations we deliver engine oil and hydraulic fluid in bulk directly into shop tanks alongside our fuel deliveries. For most farms, drums and totes hit the right cost-per-litre point; bulk makes sense once annual lubricant volume crosses a few thousand litres on a single product.
- What hydraulic oil do I need for my combine or sprayer?
- Most combines and sprayers running open-circuit hydraulics use a Phillips 66 Megaflow ISO 46 or ISO 68 anti-wear hydraulic oil. For zinc-sensitive systems (some newer designs), Powerflow NZ zinc-free is the right product. Your equipment manual will specify the ISO viscosity grade and any special requirements — send us the make/model and we'll confirm the right product.
- Do you handle waste oil pickup?
- We supply waste oil tanks for farm shops and coordinate pickup through licensed recyclers. Tank capacity is sized to your shop's typical drain interval — small farm shops usually go quarterly; larger operations monthly.
- Can you supply lubricants alongside bulk fuel deliveries?
